Every Olympic athlete is always needed to be tested randomly by the various agencies. The athletes have to be very careful. They need to be drilled into various assessments. Everything putting on the body, everything that they inhale and everything they actually ingest that would go through the blood stream. There is risk to use any new things. If there is any positive result towards those tests, the blame lies with them that they are always told to be very careful.

Bryan Clay, the Gold Medalist at the 2008 Olympics in the decathlon, also the Co-founder of a Fit Tech Studio. His opted to switched from the over-the-counter substances such as pain-killers— to nature’s original healer…plants.

A new start for the Gold Medalist

Bryan started the change until the day he was having problems in lifting in his weight room. One day when he was in his intense training that he felt like something pinched on his back, he took some pain-killers as usual but the pain was bothering him a lot for a long time. After some arguments with his wife and finally he allowed her to put the oils on him in hope for easing the pain. That were the Pain-killing blend, Idaho balsam fir and Copaiba. “Miracle” happened to him and his back felt better.

The Pain-killing blend

Ingredients: Wintergreen, Helichrysum, Clove, Peppermint

Scent: Sweet, minty, and warm. The mix of Wintergreen and Clove gives it the aroma of minty root beer!

Copaiba

Scent: Features a sweet, warm and woodsy scent and includes the naturally occurring constituent beta-caryophyllene.

What sets it apart: Let the scent of the Amazon rainforest out. Steam distilled and resin tapped from the Brazilian Copaifera reticulata tree. It is it a popular addition to many spa and skin treatments. With a comforting, earthy aroma and a myriad of uses, Copaiba is the perfect daily indulgence to feel transported to a lush South American landscape.

  • Put it in your moisturizer to reduce the appearance of blemishes and promote the appearance of a youthful, radiant glow.
  • As a perfume. Use it in customized perfumes in place of other woodsy oils like Cedarwood oil or Hawaiian Sandalwood oil for a more delicate summer fragrance.
  • Diffuse it. With a scent straight out of the Amazon, Copaiba puts the experience of a rainforest hideout just a few drops away. Put on some nature sounds and fill a room with this exotic aroma.

Peppermint

Scent: An invigorating scent you will recognize in an instant.

What sets it apart: Peppermint is a go-to for a reason. It contains menthol, creating that familiar cooling sensation that soothes tired muscles. Peppermint is a staple in anyone’s essential oil collection.

  • Sprinkle a few drops into your shower for a refreshing morning rinse.
  • Diffuse to create a sharp environment while doing school or work.
  • Mix with Base Oil and massage into tired muscles following physical activity.
  • Mix 20–30 drops with one cup of baking soda to create a refreshing carpet powder.
  • Keep your laundry smelling fresh with your own DIY laundry blend.
  • Add a few drops to your toothpaste or mouthwash for fresher breath.

Sacred Frankincense

Scent: Rich and sweet. Its musky, grounding scent makes Frankincense oil a favorite for those who enjoy meditation or other calming practices.

What sets it apart: Used for thousands of years as a vital part of religious rituals, Frankincense is considered a holy oil in the Middle East. The oil is obtained from the resin of Boswellia sacra trees in Oman. Including the naturally occurring constituents alpha-pinene, limonene, and sabinene, Sacred Frankincense oil can help to create a relaxing, calm environment with just a few drops.

  • Diffuse during meditation or spiritual study. It is perfect for: creating grounding diffuser blends with Lemon.

Dorado Azul

Scent: Brisk, earthy, and herbaceous

What sets it apart: You may have heard the phrase that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure, and in the case of Dorado Azul, that could not be truer. Native to Ecuador, the Dorado Azul plant was considered to be a useless weed- that is, until The founder of The Oil Company came across it and discovered there was more to it than met the eye.   • Diffuse it. If you like Peppermint, you will like Dorado Azul. It is chilly and refreshing, Dorado Azul offers a similar wake-you-up aroma to Peppermint but with a little more depth and character.
